Wal-Mart Recalls Doll Due To Burn Hazard

Wal-Mart is recalling a baby doll called My Sweet Love / My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Doll due to a burn hazard.

The doll's circuit board could overheat and cause the toy to get hot. Wal-Mart has sold 174,000 of the dolls. The doll comes in a pink floral clothing and matching knit hat. It also includes a toy medical check-up kit with a stethoscope, feeding spoon, thermometer and syringe. The doll babbles when she gets sick and her cheeks turn to red and she starts to cough. "My Sweet Baby" is printed on the front of the clear plastic. It has a UPC 6-04576-16800-5 and a date code which begins with WM. You'll find the date code that's sewn into the bottom of the doll.

Wal-Mart has received 12 reports of incidents including two children who received burns or blisters to the thumb. Wal-Mart will give you a refund.
