You Can Use This 18-Karat Gold Toilet On Display At Museum

Oh the puns that will come out of this.

The Guggenheim Museum in New York City has put an 18-karat gold toilet on display – and visitors can actually use it.

It’s been installed in a one-person bathroom on the museum’s fourth floor.

It’s the creation of Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan for his “America” exhibit. The museum says Cattelan intends visitors to use is just like any other toilet in the building.

BBC reports the exhibit is aimed at "making available to the public an extravagant luxury product seemingly intended for the 1 percent", according to the museum.
