Greensboro Police Arrest "Drive-Thru Robber"

GREENSBORO, NC - After several robberies at drive-thru's in Greensboro, the 'Drive-Thru Robber' was arrested by police Thursday night.

According to police, James Charles Nicholson tried to rob the McDonald's at 1501 New Garden Road around 10:45 Thursday night. 

Witnesses say he ordered food from the drive-thru, showed a handgun and then demand money when he got to the window.

On Thursday night officers heard over the radio Nicholson had tried to rob the McDonald's. Officers said they saw him pull out of the fast-food restaurant and arrested him immediately. 

Nicholson is also charged with robbing a Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Arby's, and another McDonald's in the area all in the month of May. 

His bond is set at $500,000.
