Police Impersonator Tries To Pull Over Real Cop

WHEATON, MD (WUSA9) - It's bad to impersonate a police officer.

It's worse when you try to pull over a real police officer.

Police say John Angelini, 51, of Baltimore tried to pull over an off-duty officer while he was impersonating an officer.

Angelini was driving a Crown Victoria on the ICC on Wednesday when police say he pulled up to an off-duty officer and turned on a siren.

The off-duty officer then turned on his real siren, and pulled him over.

Police say the car looked like a real cop car, complete with lights, radio, stop sticks and flex cuffs.

Angelini faces one count of impersonating an officer.
