Greensboro, NC - The North Carolina Tar Heels are keeping a keen eye on the other teams in the tournament.
Duke's loss to Lehigh, and Norfolk State's upset over Missouri have struck a nerve in the Carolina locker room.
"We saw Missouri lose, and we were like 'wow, their season is over.'" It can happen that fast, and we have to take that into account and play like it." said UNC forward John Henson.
"The underdogs definitely come into this tournament believing they can beat anybody, so we can judge the book by its cover, we just have to go out and play our game from the beginning," said UNC guard Reggie Bullock.
But it's not all worry being a number one seed in the tournament.
"That's definitely something that's nice about being a one seed, to have the games close," said UNC senior Tyler Zeller. "To have your crowd around you and support you and we look forward to being in that kind of an atmosphere tomorrow. You still have to go out there and give your best effort every night because it could be your last."
The Tar Heels are preparing to take on eight-seed Creighton on Sunday at 5:15 PM in the Greensboro Coliseum.
