Asheboro, NC -- Police in Asheboro arrested and charged a man Friday with taking a cell phone picture up a woman's skirt in a Wal-Mart.
The woman told police she was shopping with her 5-year-old child when she noticed someone put a cell phone up her skirt. She saw a reflection of her legs on the phone screen; police said the cell phone made a clicking sound, similar to the shutter of a camera.
She immediately confronted the man in an effort to attract attention to the situation, according to the police report. Police said they reviewed surveillance video that showed the man leaving the store.
Jesse Marion, 32, was found driving a van about an hour after the incident was reported. Police said they found a 9 mm Glock and marijuana in the vehicle.
Marion was charged with Secret Peeping, Possession of Marijuana and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was taken to jail and issued a $15,000 secured bond. Police said his phone was taken for evidence.
