DURHAM, N.C. - Duke sophomore Rasheed Sulaimon is one of 24 players to accept an invitation to the USA Basketball Men's U19 World Championship Team Training Camp on June 5-12 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Twelve of the 24 players invited to the USA U19 Training Camp will be chosen to represent the country on the Team USA Men's U19 Team at the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship on June 27-July in Prague, Czech Republic.
Sulaimon started 33 games as a freshman in 2012-13, averaging 11.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. He was named to the All-ACC Freshman Team and finished the year ranked among the top three on the team in rebounds (103), made three-pointers (49), made free throws (93) and assists (68).
A native of Houston, Texas, Sulaimon was a member of the USA U18 Team and helped Team USA win gold at the 2012 Men's FIBA Americas U18 Championship in Brazil. In five games during that tournament, Sulaimon averaged 10.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 54.1 percent (20-of-37) from the field in 20.0 minutes per game.

Coaching the team will be Billy Donovan (University of Florida) as head coach, with Tony Bennett (University of Virginia) and Shaka Smart (Virginia Commonwealth University) as assistant coaches.
The 12 players selected to the USA Men's U19 Team will begin training camp on June 14 at the Washington Wizards practice facility in Washington, D.C.
