(GREENSBORO, N.C.) -- Greensboro College head men's basketball coach Bryan Galuski is pleased to announce the addition of two outstanding Triad area student-athletes. The players are Devan Gregory (Dudley HS) and Edric Roberts (McMichael HS).

Gregory and Roberts will be joining a Pride team that went 18-9 last season while advancing to the USA South conference title game.

"I am very excited to have Devan and Edric wearing a Greensboro College basketball jersey this upcoming season," said Galuski. "In addition to being outstanding players they both will represent the Greensboro College community extremely well."

Devan Gregory, 6-2 Guard (Dudley HS)
Devan Gregory averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds per game last season for Dudley High School, a team that advanced to the 4A State quarter final game. He is an excellent student and was nominated for the Best Citizen award with the Civitan Club to represent Dudley High School.
Dudley boy's basketball coach, Brian Seagraves, says about Gregory, "Devan Gregory is a hard worker and a leader on and off the court. He is the epitome of a model citizen and strives to do

Galuski added, "Devin will certainly add depth to our back court. He has played in many big games and his experience will help him with the transition to the college game. With continued hard work he has the ability to become a very special player in our program."

Edric Roberts, 6-3 Forward (McMichael HS)
Edric Roberts has been a varsity starter for the past three seasons at McMichael High School. During the 2012-13 season, Roberts was a team captain averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds per game for McMichael.

"Edric Roberts has played huge part in the success of McMichael's Phoenix Basketball Program," says Randall Galloway, boy's basketball coach at McMichael. Off the court, Edric Roberts has the necessary tools to be successful in whatever he chooses to do in life. In addition to Edric's impressive personal qualities, he is a good student and has shown a great deal of persistence towards his goal of pursuing a postsecondary degree. He will definitely be a tough piece for us to replace, but I look forward to watching him play at Greensboro College."

Galuski added, "Edric has a lot of potential and I believe his best basketball is ahead of him. If he continues to keep working hard, he will certainly have an opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of our program."
