WFMY-News 2 -- During Saturday's 6pm Newscast, News 2's Carol Andrews asked Sports Anchor Brian Formica if anyone ever turned down a draft invitation?

"I love learning new things and definitely learned something new from Brian's answer".

Formica told Andrews and viewers that in baseball more than any other sport it may really be a smart move to decline the invitation and wait to potentially go higher the following year.

In Saturday's finishing of the Top 25 rounds of the MLB Draft, the following local players were drafted:
