Coron Williams Brings Experience To Wake Forest Backcourt

Winston-Salem, N.C.--C.J. Harris and Chase Fischer were Wake Forest's top three-point shooters last season.

The dio knocked down 94 of the Deacs tri-fecta's.

Harris graduated and Fischer transferred to BYU leaving Jeff Bzdelick's squad looking for an outside shooter.

Enter Coron Williams, a transfer from Robert Morris.

Williams, a 6-2 170-pound guard, started 71 of a total 72 games over the past two seasons for the Colonials.

Williams was a prolific 3-point shooter for the Colonials, going 210-for-497 for 42.3 percent from beyond the arc for his career. Last season, Williams went 74-of-178 for 41.6 percent from 3-point range.
