GREENSBORO, N.C.  - Boo Weekley, Nicolas Colsaerts, Ben Curtis and Trevor Immelman have all joined the Wyndham Championship field, the tournament announced today.  The 74th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 12-18, 2013.

These players join a field that also includes defending champion Sergio Garcia, reigning FedExCup champion and 2007 Wyndham winner Brandt Snedeker, 2011 Wyndham winner and 2012 U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson, Wyndham winners Davis Love III, Carl Pettersson and K.J. Weekley, ninth in the current FedExCup point standings and 61st in the Official World Golf Rankings, is a major fan favorite. Weekley will be making his fifth-consecutive Wyndham Championship start and his sixth overall.  He finished tied for 32nd in 2009 for his best finish here.  He won The Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas earlier this year.  Weekley's nickname comes from the cartoon character, Yogi Bear's sidekick "Boo Boo."

Colsaerts is 42nd in the Official World Golf Rankings and 125th in the current FedExCup point standings.  He finished tied for seventh in the Wyndham last year in his only previous appearance here.  The long ball-hitting golfer from Belgium, ranked second in PGA TOUR driving distance, finished tied for eighth at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans for his best finish this season.  He is 25th in the European Tour Race to Dubai standings and has three top-10 finishes there this year.

Ben Curtis won the Open Championship in 2003 and has three additional PGA TOUR victories.  The week after his Open Championship win, he appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" and hit wedge shots rooftop to rooftop in New York City.  Curtis is making his fourth Wyndham Championship appearance. He is 149th in the current FedExCup point standings and 143rd in the Official World Golf Rankings. He represented the United States on both the Ryder Cup and World Cup teams in 2008 and won the World Amateur Team Championship in 2000.

Trevor Immelman won the Masters in 2008 and has six international victories; he is a two-time PGA TOUR winner.  A native of South Africa, he continues to recover from a chronic wrist injury that has plagued him for the last few years.  He finished tied for ninth at the RBC Heritage for his best finish this season in his 200th career PGA TOUR start.  Immelman is making his fourth consecutive Wyndham Championship appearance; he finished tied for tied for 22nd last year in his best Wyndham finish.  He is 148th in the current FedExCup point standings.  Immelman's brother, Mark, will work for PGA TOUR Radio on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio during the Wyndham.
