GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Overall it looks like we will have a nice weekend for all of your outdoor plans. There will be a small chance of showers Sunday, otherwise dry weather is expected.
A cold front has moved just east of the Triad. It will briefly become stationary before dissipating by Saturday. High pressure is building over the area with slightly drier air. This will keep our weather dry through Saturday.
A weak cold front, with limited moisture will track across the Piedmont on Sunday. It will bring only a 30 percent chance of a shower or thunderstorm.
High temperatures Friday and Saturday will be near 87, Sunday's high will be 85, cooling to 83 on Monday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s over the weekend cooling to the lower 60s Monday and Tuesday morning.
