Triad -  A stationary boundary remains parked to our northwest. As long as it stays there, we will stay unsettled. There is a chance of mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms today. The biggest threats should be heavy rain and possible gusty winds.

It will also be warm and muggy. Highs today will be close to 90. The high humidity will make it even harder to cool off. Plus, it will likely feel like it's hotter than 90.

The storms will die off after the sun goes down, and it will stay muggy overnight.

Monday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 80s and a 30% chance of thunderstorms.

The bigger problem will begin on Tuesday and last through Wednesday. A front will stall over the Piedmont and keep us unsettled. Instead of afternoon thunderstorms, the chance for rain will be any time of the day or night. There is the potential for flooding problems.

By the end of the week, temperatures will fall to the upper 70s. There will still be a chance of rain each day.
