Raleigh, N.C. – NC State has scheduled a home-and-home series with SEC program Mississippi State, the department announced today.
On Sept. 12, 2020, the Bulldogs will travel to Carter-Finley Stadium and the Wolfpack will travel to Starkville for a Sept. 11, 2021 matchup.
NC State has faced Mississippi State five times in program history, boasting a 3-2 advantage in the series. The last meeting was in the 1995 Peach Bowl, when the Wolfpack held MSU to just one touchdown and five field goals in a 28-24 New Year's Day clash.
The squads also met in the 1963 Liberty Bowl, a contest the ACC Co-Champion Wolfpack lost 16-12.
Mississippi State has played in Raleigh twice, but never in Carter-Finley Stadium, winning 26-10 in 1940 and falling 14-0 in 1930. The Pack's only trip to Starkville was a 6-0 win in 1931.
