GREENSBORO, N.C. – Multiple Wyndham Championship sponsors are combining to provide free admission to members of the military, Piedmont Triad teachers and Piedmont Triad first responders at the 75th Anniversary Wyndham Championship; in addition, the Military Outpost returns this year, the tournament announced today. The tournament begins Monday at Sedgefield Country Club.
The Military Outpost presented by TCDI, will be located between the 10th and 18th fairways at Sedgefield Country Club. There, members of the military in attendance can enjoy complimentary food and drinks courtesy of TCDI. Those admitted each day will include approximately 100 active-duty military personnel that will travel to the Wyndham each day from their North Carolina bases.
Piedmont Triad Members of the Military, including active duty, reservists and veterans, will receive free admission for themselves and one guest courtesy of Michelob Ultra.

Teachers representing Piedmont Triad-area kindergarten through high school institutions and one guest will receive free admission to the tournament with a current school identification card Wednesday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 17. This free admission is courtesy of Technology Concepts & Design, Inc., a presenting sponsor of Monday's Kevin Harvick Foundation Pro-Am.
Piedmont Triad first responders, including law enforcement, fire and Emergency Medical Technicians, will also be admitted to the tournament free of charge with one guest by showing a current identification card Wednesday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 17. This free admission is courtesy of Blue Ridge Companies. As always at the Wyndham Championship, children ages 15 and under are admitted free of charge with a paying adult.
Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2014 and contested annually on the Donald Ross-designed course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship was founded in 1938 and is the sixth-oldest event on the PGA TOUR excluding the Majors.
