Greensboro, N.C.--Piedmont Triad golf fans can purchase tickets for the 75th anniversary Wyndham Championship on the website, at the tournament entrance or even through corporate sponsorships.
But fans can only purchase two "good-any-day" tickets for the price of one at Piedmont Triad Harris Teeter locations, the tournament announced today. The 75th anniversary Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 11-17, 2014 at Sedgefield Country Club.
Now through the end of the Wyndham Championship, fans can purchase two "good-any-day" Wyndham tickets for the price of one at all Piedmont Triad-area Harris Teeter locations.
The only catch is that a VIC card is required to get the two-for-one deal.
The $40 tickets available at Harris Teeter are good for tournament admission on any day of tournament week. As always, children aged 15 and under are admitted free with a paying adult so a family of four can attend the Wyndham Championship for just $40 per day.
Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2014 and contested annually on the Donald Ross-designed course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship was founded in 1938 and is the sixth-oldest event on the PGA TOUR excluding the Majors
