GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A day before Guilford County Schools invite students back to class, the North Carolina A&T Department of Athletics will hold its annual Aggie Fun Fest at Aggie Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 24 (3-6 p.m.).
Fans will be able to meet the football, volleyball and cross country teams and their respective coaches. Coaches and players will also sign autographs after being introduced to the community.
In addition, fans will also be able to enjoy the sounds of the award-winning Blue and Gold Marching Machine. The A&T cheerleaders will also perform, and there will be games children and A&T students to play. Admission is free to the public and free snacks will be served.
"Fun Fest is always an important day for our athletics department," said Earl M. Hilton III, director of athletics at North Carolina A&T. "It allows our coaches and players to interact with a very important member of our team, the Greensboro community. We're looking forward to having a lot of fun and a superb fall season."
