BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Alamance County native and NFL star, Brandon Tate hosted a free youth clinic Sunday.
UNC alum and current Cincinnati, Bengal Brandon Tate is one of the top return men in the NFL. Before his stop in Chapel Hill and the NFL, Tate starred at Burlington Cummings High School.
He was back in his hometown Sunday afternoon holding a free youth clinic for kids ages six to fourteen. Participants got to run all kinds of drills teaching them the fundamentals of the game.
"It's always important because the kids are the future. Some of these kids have big big dreams and i'm just trying to be a role model for them, telling them to stay in school and compete and just have a good time," said Tate.
