Coach Ron Rivera Leaves News Conference After Player Injury Question

CHARLOTTE - Frustrated with a reporter's question about an injury, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera briskly left his news conference on Monday afternoon.

Rivera was asked if linebacker Luke Kuechly was ok after a hard block on a 49ers touchdown during Carolina's 46-27 win on Sunday.

Kuechly later sealed the victory with an interception, but was noticeably absent from the media's open locker room period after the game.

When asked, Rivera stared the reporter down and said, "Really? He got blocked. Let's not try and create something that's not there."

As he left the podium, Rivera went on to say, "I don't think that's a fair question."
