Greensboro, NC -- Imagine being 13 when you began writing your first novel, publishing it at 15 and following it up with the sequel at 18! Joseph Landing is a senior in high school but he began his writing career at the age of thirteen, announcing to his parents that he was "starting his first novel." By the time Joseph was just fifteen years old, his novel, Tamechactee – Arrow Soul was published. His debut novel was well-received, garnering a five star review from Reader's Favorite, an online book service company. Tamechactee – Arrow Soul placed as a Finalist in Fiction/Fantasy in the 2012 USA Best Book Awards out of Los Angeles. Joseph has continued his writing with this current work, a sequel entitled Tamechactee – Battle for Humanity. This exciting conclusion to the Tamechactee series may be just the beginning for the author. His goals include studying screenplay writing and film directing in college, and he has already started adapting the Tamechactee series for a movie screenplay. For the last two years, Joseph has been speaking with elementary and middle school students both in person and via Skype to talk about the importance of reading and going after their dreams. Here's his conversation with Eric Chilton.
