Kernersville, N.C. -- Ivey Redmon may be 91 but his memory is perfect. He says as a young 19-year-old soldier he survived one of the bloodiest battles in U.S. war history. He was part of a troop that stormed Utah beach on that fateful day in 1944...D-Day.

Out of his entire platoon there are only two left but he is traveling to Bedford, VA to the D-Day Memorial to meet others like him who can still recall the battle that changed a world war. In his words...."If we hadn't won that war we would be speaking another language in america".
