WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- This weekend is your chance to learn all about Greek culture with folks in Winston-Salem.

There will be food, music, dancing, children's activities and many other things to pique your interest at this year's Winston-Salem Greek Festival.

The food menu includes full course meals featuring Moussaka Plates, Pastichio Plates, Chicken or Pork Souvlaki Plates, and Roasted Leg of Lamb Plates. You can even learn the secrets of Greek cuisine in cooking classes at the festival.

The Winston-Salem Greek Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. It's at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Keating Drive.

Admission is $1 for adults. Children younger than age 12 get in free.

This weekend is your chance to learn all about Greek culture with folks in Winston-Salem.

Part of the proceeds from the event will go to Brenner Children's Hospital, Second Harvest Food Bank of N-W North Carolina and Youth Ministries at the church.
