Biscuitville unveiled its new lunch menu at the end of May. And, the best part: the company's keeping it local. Each new item, including the BBQ Bruiser, the Curly Country Ham Melt, and the fried okra side, contains ingredients from local vendors.

Biscuitville officially launched its FRESH SOUTHERN lunch menu May 27, and, folks in Greensboro and Eden can already get a taste of the new southern lunch items. Up next, the menu makes its way to Burlington.

If you've already tried the new items for yourself, Biscuitville wants to hear from you. Head over to the restaurant's new FRESH SOUTHERN website to learn more about the new lunch sandwiches and sides or leave feedback about the new food.

WFMY News 2's Patrick Wright spent Wednesday morning at Biscuitville on High Point Road to talk to CEO Burney Jennings; Kathie Niven, Biscuitville's chief brand officer; and Jeff Chandler of Chandler Foods, about the changes and what they mean here locally.
