Greensboro, NC -- Scottie is a domestic shorthaired kitty that decided to come to our rabies clinic on his own.
Scottie was thought to be a breed of kitty called a "Scottish Fold" because of the way that his ears are folded. It turned out that he had had ear mites so badly that this had caused the folds in his ears.
He was limping with his hind leg. We took him to the vet and Scottie had to have surgery and have his leg removed. You would never know that Scottie is missing a leg, he does just like any normal kitty would do on 4 legs.
He is such a lover boy....just like he is so thankful for being safe now, that he likes a lap and a snuggle. Scottie is about 4 years old.
Scottie is currently with the Animal Awareness Society of Randleman.
