Winston-Salem, NC -- Does it seem like every time you visit a convenience store a new beverage pops up on the shelf? Well add one more to the mix, but this Triad-based drink has something - or rather lack of something -that might just make you give it a try.

It's called Grins a naturally sweetened, flavored, and colored drink. The beverage is also free of sodium, preservatives, and caffeine. The whole goal of the drink is to promote a healthier lifestyle among kids.

The first bottle came off the line in November 2011 and they have continued to grow each month. So far they have three flavors Strawberry-Kiwi, Citrus Punch, and Grape.

Grins is not only about turning a profit. They have pledged a percentage of its gross revenue to various charities including schools to help raise money for materials, activities, and experiences that contribute to a strong education.
