The Domino's owner is outraged after detectives found evidence of an employee sending dirty photos while delivering pizza.
TRINITY, NC—A Triad Domino's owner is outraged after detectives found evidence of an employee sending dirty photos while delivering pizza.
Monday the Randolph County Sheriff's office arrested and charged Daniel Miller with 11 counts of disseminating obscene material to a minor.
Detectives told WFMY News 2's Liz Crawford that Miller send lewd photos of his crotch to a 14-year-old girl while he was on the clock delivering Domino's pizza. Deputies say he was also performing a lewd act while on the job.
Tuesday, the owner of Domino's in Trinity, Kimberly Cates told WFMY how outraged she was by the charges.
Cates has owned the Domino's for 14 years. She requires background checks and driving records before hiring anyone. She told WFMY Miller's came back flawless. He was employed at Domino's for one year. Cates terminated him immediately after the Sheriff's office made her aware of the allegations.
"Your trust has been shaken and how do you get that back?" said Cates.
Cates told WFMY when Miller showed up for work on Monday, a deputy was waiting at Domino's to arrest him. The sheriff's office said Cates and her employees have been cooperative and helpful in their investigation.
Cates said, "I've got 17 employees and their families and their livelihoods, all of us depend on us making good decisions and doing a great job. This is just something that happen that we could not control."
