REIDSVILLE, N.C. -- After responding to a shots fired call early Sunday, police in Reidsville are trying to sort out what happened during an incident that left one person wounded.

Investigators said they received a 911 call reporting numerous gunshots in the area of Pickrell Road, near Grooms Road. A few minutes later, officers were called to Annie Penn Hospital for a person who was there with a gunshot wound.

Officers say two cars were parked near Browns Mobile Home Park in the 1900 block of Pickrell Road and multiple gunshots were fired. One person was hit by two bullets, police said.
