WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Winston-Salem police say a juvenile fired a gun Saturday afternoon in city limits.

According to police, the gun belongs to Monique Miller, the juvenile's caregiver. After searching their home on Clark Avenue, they found drugs that they say belonged to Tywane Speas II.

Miller is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, felony Possession of a Stolen Firearm and two counts of child abuse. She is in jail under a $25,000 bond.

Speas is charged with felony Possession of Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling for VCSA and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
