FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. -- The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested two men for setting multiple fires in the Walkertown community.

The three fires occurred over a four day period. Investigators say the first fire occurred at an abandoned house on Sullivantown Road on Thursday. Two days later investigators say the men started a brush fire on Salem Road. The third fire happened after midnight on July 27, at a tobacco barn on Old Flatrock Road.

Richard Bartola Brown, Jr., 18, and Frank Henry Gerencser, 19, have both been charged in connection with setting the fires.

Brown is charged with two counts of Intentionally Setting Fire to Grass/Brush/Wood of Another and two counts of Burning Certain Buildings. Gerencser is charged with two counts of Intentionally Setting Fire to Grass/Brush/Wood of Another and one count of Burning Certain Buildings.
