GREENSBORO, NC-- It's an amazing story about the teenager who stowed away in a plane wheel well and survived a flight from California to Hawaii. We're all glad he's alive. But he hopped an airport fence and got access to a plane. What if he had evil intentions? Doesn't it seem like it was just too easy?

2WTK about the safety at Piedmont Triad International Airport. We asked PTIA leaders how often is the fence line patrolled? And what kind of monitoring is there? The answer was "we cant' tell you".

Kevin Baker, PTIA's executive director said "We cannot and do not discuss any measures related to security. TSA regulations prevent us from discussing anything that is considered to be security sensitive."

Of course, this isn't the first time this has happened. In 2010 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale stowed away in the wheel well of a plane leaving Charlotte Douglas airport. He died when he fell out while the plane was over Massachusetts.
