Everyone uses some kind of "hack," or shortcut to make things easier at home. 2 Wants To Know is showcasing some of these tricks this week.

Use a plastic hanger to store your cords. Clip one side of your electrical cord, wrap it around the hanger and then clip the other end of it. This will prevent your cord from getting all tangled when you store it.

Use a plastic hanger to hold your recipe book. To avoid getting food all over your recipe book, or magazine, open your book to the page you are using. Clip both sides of the book. Then, hang it on you cabinet knob or handle.

Use ice cubes to remove furniture indentation. When your furniture leaves indentations on your carpet, you can remove it by placing an ice cube, or two on top of it. It will take a couple hours to melt, but it removes the mark.
