Kate Murr's husband was determined to get her medicine after she ran out during the winter storm. Murr calls this a snow angel good deed.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Let's face it: when it snows, it causes a host of unforeseen circumstances. But thank goodness for neighbors and strangers who are willing to come to the rescue.

We've been hearing about a number of unsung heroes who are helping others in the snow across the viewing area from pushing a car, to shoveling snow from walkways to lots of others.

These are your stories that you've shared with us on the WFMY News 2 Facebook page and now we're sharing them with others in an effort to help pass along a special "Thank You" to so many real life snow angels.

Kate Murr - "I am a heart attack survivor and represented Guilford Cty last year as the "go Red for Women" representative for American Heart Asso. Thursday morning i called up a refill on my heart medication. My husband thought he could get the car out of our driveway and would be able to pick up my meds...only to find himself stuck in the middle of our road not able to move with the snow. I called my Cone Pharmacy and spoke to Fleming Edwards to make sure they would be open as my sweet husband David Murr was setting off by foot to go get my medicine. She says they would be open. We hung up and within a few seconds she called back to say that they would be glad to meet him. Alan Stuckey from the pharmacy drove to a mutual spot to meet my husband to give him my medicine. How about that for a snow angel good deed?
