GREENSBORO -- While kids were off school for a snow day Friday, some weren't just sitting in front of the TV. Some kids are out helping their neighbors.

WFMY News 2 talked to a group of kids in Greensboro in Operation Shovel Out.

"They were shoveling the snow out from under the front tires, back tires, and then getting together and pushing the car," Natasha Huntley said. "I would see the cars take off and everybody was happy."

One neighbor said he was surprised, "You normally don't see that happen but I see a bunch of good young men."

The boys helping their neighbors are between 9 and 13 years old.

Some of the neighbors they helped even game them a dollar for all their troubles.
