GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Greensboro Police say a woman died following a single vehicle accident in Greensboro early Saturday morning.

Officers say 21 year-old Jasmine Goins was traveling on I-40 West near Martin Luther King Drive when her car ran off to the right and collided with a guardrail. Her car then became airborne before landing between the exit ramp. The car continued to roll over, ejecting her from the vehicle according to police.

Goins was transported to Moses Cone Hospital where she died as a result of her injuries.

Police say it has been 54 days since the last motor vehicle fatality in Greensboro.
