TRINITY, N.C. - One person was injured after an early morning house fire in Randolph County on Friday.
Officials with Randolph County Emergency Services say they received a call around 3:50 a.m. about a house fire on Meadowbrook Drive. When crews arrived they say the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, the family was able to make it out safely. Officials say one person was injured from minor burns but didn't go to the hospital.
Investigators are assessing the damage and trying to figure out what caused the fire.
