GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Would you shave your head to advocate for cancer?
Many people did, in celebration of Saint Baldrick's, Saturday.
Organizers raised $1,600 Saturday for children with cancer. One participant said she wants to help the children from the very beginning.
"I think it's important because of some many people effected with cancer, my mom has been effected," Andrea Underwood a supporter said. "To help children from the very beginning, I think it's just a great cause."
Matt and Barb Osborne started this because Matt's dad had cancer. He saw all the kids with cancer and decided to do this fundraiser.
This is the third year for the event.
