BURLINGTON, N.C. -- The City of Burlington says about 1,600 utility bills were mailed out last week containing incorrect information. The bills could have incorrect account, billing information, or even the amount of money due.

City workers say they will mail out new utility bills immediately. It will also include a notice alerting customers to the incident.
