WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Investigators in New Hanover County are looking into the deaths of three people whose bodies were found in a home inside a retirement community.
A statement from the sheriff's office said deputies were dispatched on Friday for a welfare check.
When deputies arrived at the home in the Plantation Village retirement community, they found the bodies.
The identities of the victims haven't been released because the relatives are out of state.
The sheriff's office said it doesn't believe there's a threat to the community.
