GREENSBORO, N.C -- Clifton White, Junior is 80 years old and Saturday he tested for his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is now among the oldest in North Carolina to take the test and pass it. For the first time, he wasn't nervous.
"Believe it or not, for the first time I wasn't nervous," White said. "I was not nervous."
White says Tae Kwon Do is all about respect and Saturday, brought tears to his eyes.
"Tears came to my eyes," White said. "I couldn't help it, it always does, but I think this time, it was good."
White is also working on getting his doctorates degree in Philosophy
