GREENSBORO, N.C. -- April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and several organizations in the Triad are spreading the getting the word out on how the community can help out.
Family Service of the Piedmont, The Guilford County Health Department, The Guilford County Department of Social Services, and The Greensboro Police Department are just some of the organizations hosting "Pinwheels for Prevention" gardens.
Sue Spidell with Family Service of the Piedmont told WFMY News 2 the pinwheels are up to remind people that we all have a role in helping children in the community thrive.
