BURLINGTON, N.C. -- People in need of a warm meal were treated to one Saturday, thanks to the Piedmont Rescue Mission.
Its Executive Director Tony Honeycutt says anyone from the homeless to the elderly stopped by. Nearly 80 people got together for an early easter meal.He says it's like a big family reunion.
"There are a lot of elderly folks who are alone on the holidays," Honeycutt said. "We want to have something where they can come and feel like they're apart of something."
