GREENSBORO, N.C. – After a school bus hit three cars Wednesday morning, troopers say no charges will be filed against the driver.
The accident happened on Wendover Avenue, near I-73.
Greensboro police said no children were on the bus.
Trooper Knox of N.C. Highway Patrol said while they were investigating, troopers went back and looked at a recording device inside the bus and saw the driver was clearly choking.
According to investigators, the bus was driving on Wendover Avenue when it went off the road and hit a car, a van and a truck at a stop light. The bus and the van went down a hill and through a fence.
EMS took two people to the hospital. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
