First Triad Dog Games
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Triad is now home to the Triad Dog Games.
The games benefit the Sergei Foundation. It is an organization that helps provide financial aid to family who can't afford emergency care for their pets. Saturday, the dogs had to show their skill level on everything from agility to vertical leap.
Brooke Jillson is a dog trainer. She said everyone was extremely excited.
"They are all about getting your dog in the water," Jillson said. "You can forget that it is a competition and you can just go out and have some good old fun with your dog."
The games last all weekend at Reynolda Village in Winston-Salem. The goal is to get 3,000 people to attend. The competition goes from 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday.
