The McNairy branch library on Lake Jeanette Rd. had some construction issues, but city officials say it will not delay the opening.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A new high-tech library to open soon in Greensboro will not be delayed by some construction issues according to city officials.

The McNairy branch library located at 4860 Lake Jeanette Road is still set to open August 1.

City officials say they were notified about windows leaking at the future library several weeks ago. They have since changed contractors and tell WFMY News 2 they are addressing the issue quickly.

The new library will feature a laptop and tablet check-out station, a 3-D printer and a collaboration room.
