You don't need a computer to find someone and socially stalk them, just a cell phone and some time.
Eric Chilton and cyber detective expert Danielle Hatfield went all over downtown Greensboro to prove - all they needed was Twitter to start.
Within minutes, they located a total stranger, thanks to a post on Foursquare. Then they cross searched other sites like LinkedIn and Facebook. They found out what the man looked like, how old he was and where he worked.
Now, Rocky Rowlands says he's going to lock down his social media - to protect his identity.
To do that, go to your settings and turn off your location settings. Make sure your apps don't automatically talk to each other. Hatfield said you can also check out staysafe.org for instructions.
