THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Thomasville Police are investigating their first homicide of the year after a body was found on Smith Street, Tuesday afternoon.

Thomasville Police say they are investigating after a man was shot Tuesday afternoon in the Smith St. area.

Police say they found 31-year-old Artravis Ned Little laying in the front yard. Officers immediately noticed Little was shot. Emergency workers performed CPR but were unable to save him.

Police are actively looking for two men and a woman who were seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting. Police believe they were driving an older model rusty colored Ford Crown Victoria.

One man is six feet tall, weighs 140-150 lbs. and was seen wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and a black beanie style cap.

The other man is 5-foot-2 inches tall, weighs 130 lbs., and was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black beanie style cap.

The woman is described as 5-foot-5 inches tall, weighs 200 to 250 lbs., and was seen wearing a white shirt and white pants.
