EDEN, N.C. -- The Rockingham County Sheriff's Office says a missing 19-year-old mother and her baby have been found safe.
Investigators say they've been in contact with Kaitlyn Williams and they've notified her family. WFMY News 2 spoke with the Sheriff's Office but they couldn't release where Williams was found. Investigators also say no charges will be filed in the case.
Her family was worried for her safety when she told them she was going to meet a friend to go to the beach Friday but she never showed up.
On Sunday, surveillance video from a Walmart parking lot in Mayodan showed Kaitlyn and her 6-month-old daughter with a man deputies believe is the child's father.
Williams' mother said she was concerned because of the couple's history of accusing each other of domestic violence. The couple dropped the restraining orders they took out against each other earlier this month.
Earlier Thursday, William's mother spoke with WFMY News 2 about why she was so concerned about her daughter's safety.
The Rockingham Co. Sheriff's Office is looking for a 19-year-old woman and her six-month old daughter, after their family reported them missing since Friday.
