WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The beauty of music is that you listen to it. The sounds of the instruments bring it to life for those enjoying live music or hearing a favorite song over the radio.
Children who are blind or visually impaired attending the Student Enrichment Experience Summer Camp in Winston-Salem got to experience a "Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo." On Thursday, volunteers with the Winston-Salem Symphony brought along their instruments for the campers to enjoy. The students get to touch and play with the instruments as part of the camp. The camp is hosted by Winston-Salem Industries for the Blind.
