WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Sunday a group gathered in Winston-Salem to walk against domestic violence.
The walk was to honor and remember Cheryl Bethea. Police say Bethea's boyfriend stabbed her to death last week.
Bethea was 42 years old and was found dead outside her home.
Sunday's walk was to raise awareness about domestic violence and to encourage people to speak out if they are a victim.
There are places for victims of domestic violence to get help in the Triad.
