The "Jersey Boys" are taking Greensboro by storm!
The musical highlights the rise of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. You see how they start as four blue-collar boys who rocket into rock/pop super stardom. You are taken on a journey through their lives with their hit songs spotlighting each memorable milestone. The group has sold more than 175 million records worldwide and The Vocal Group Hall of Fame says they were the most popular rock band before the Beatles.
Cast members from the travelling show stopped by to tell us what fans can expect. Hayden Milanes who plays Frankie Valli says the story starts when they're kids and you see them singing under a street lamp and how they shared a passion for music. Quinn Vanantwerp who plays Bob Gaudio says the show will surprise you and "whether you are a fan, or not a fan, it's amazing to sit through and go, oh, I know all of this music."
This is a Broadway show that has become so popular you can see it around the world. We are very lucky they're making a stop right here in Greensboro. "Jersey Boys" will play today through April 6th at the War Memorial Auditorium. You can buy tickets here.
